Live concerts Monday till Saturday from 10pm.
One of the most famous Jazz scene since 1975, the Jazz Club Etoile has seen some of the biggest contemporary names in Jazz. Its prestigious stage has hosted, amongst others, Dizzy Gillespie, Cab Calloway, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Claude Bolling, Oscar Peterson, Fats Domino, Rodha Scott and Diana Krall.
In early the 80's, the club was amongst the first to bring big names in Soul and Blues to Paris, acts which later included Ike Turner, BB King, Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Mighty Mo Rodgers.
Already offering a diverse mix of music, the Jazz Club Etoile is now opening its stage to Funk and World Music. With a cheerful, festive and rhythmic atmosphere, each evening offers a new possibility to join us and experience "Heart, Beats, Passion".
With a capacity of up to 250 people, the club ensures intimacy and proximity to the stage. Reservations are available every evening Monday to Saturday. With full table service, Jazz Club Etoile, guarantees everyone a choice place to spend a special evening.
Stephen Martin, Jazz Club Etoile's new Manager, has re-invented the club. The combination of a self made man and mixologist, trained by some of the most famous barmen, his passion for the history and tradition of his profession is evident - as is his taste for the unusual cocktail. His previous experience (which included manager of La Scène in the Bastille and Purple Bar), gave him experience in recreating cocktails in the manner a chef creates or adapts a recipe.
Mixing the best with "traditional "and contemporary creations, he has developed a menu in perfect harmony with the spirit of the club. Evolving every two to three months, it is comprised of three main sections: the traditional, themed creations (foe example variations of cocktails based on essential oils) and the unusual and unexpected, like St. Germain liquor of or Bombay Super Premium.
On his initiative, the Mixology Workshop makes it possible not only for his team to learn how to master the recipes in depth, but also to learn about the history of the bar and prepare to take part in competition. The Meeting place, the Mixology Workshop accommodates, within a dedicated space, famous head barman, brand representatives as well as manufacturers
and wine experts.
The ideal place for Socal Network Get Togethers, Jazz Club Etoile offers a top class venue for people to connect and exchange with new people.
With the advantage of technical equipment available and a high quality scenic space, the club is an artists dream for showcases. Fully privatisable and flexible, the venue can accommodate up to 350 people, by designing your own event to specification and adapting the club to suits you, from the music to the buffet or even a personalized cocktail.
Combining team know-how and creativity, the bar and restaurant departments of Le Meridien Etoile conquer new flavors: world cuisine, unusual buffets and varied tapas, each event offers the possibility to create an occasion out of the ordinary, and even to create your own dedicated menu.
